Noveske 5.56 AR-15 Barrel

All barrels ship with a gas block. These barrels are designed for Noveske’s gas block that is 1″ long (INCLUDED). A standard front sight base is 1.9″ long and WILL NOT FIT. Barrel installation should be performed by a qualified gunsmith. Installation of the gas block dowel pin and gas block is required to complete the assembly process. These barrels do not come with a headspaced bolt unless noted in the product title.

The stainless lightweight contour barrels are made to the same high quality manufacturing processes as the standard stainless barrels but with a noticeable weight savings from a reduced outside contour.

Noveske’s chrome lined barrels are cold hammered forged and made with the material callouts and manufacturing process for the M249 Machine Gun barrel. The cold hammer forging process work hardens the steel around a rifled mandrel, which creates the lands and grooves. The barrel is then chrome lined to the spec for a M249 Machine Gun barrel, which is about twice as thick as that of an M4 barrel. The end result is a rifle that can be run hard day after day. For any high round count, high temperature, heavy shooting, we recommend the chrome lined barrel.
