The Dark Forge Wraith is a next generation double stack 1911 pistol with unmatched capability. It has a hand-lapped steel frame and a slide that feels like silk when racked. Its hand-fitted patent pending barrel has three sets of ports (V6 and Dual Top inline). The multi-ported barrel, hand-lapped frame, and slide work in unison to keep its muzzel flat with rapid cycling. The slide has enhanced rear, top, and side serrations for superior grip-ability and swift slide racking. The Wraith’s steel frame is fitted with Dark Forge’s fully CNC-machined alumunium double stack grip module that accepts double stack 1911 and 2011 magazines. It has a fixed backstrap safety and a ultra crisp 2-2.5 lb flat blade trigger with virtually no takeup and an ultra clean break. The optics cut slide allows the direct mount of any RMR or SRO-footprint optic, so there’s no need to purchase aftermarket optic plates. The Wraith is fully DLC coated, with hints of bronze PVD for extreme finish durabilty.
