At the heart of the Akira is a 4.6″ ported bull barrel (8 ports, 3 slots) providing a flat recoil impulse, and fast follow-up shots. A 6.4″ sight radius with a red fiber-optic front sight and backup irons ensures rapid sight acquisition, while the included Trijicon RMR/SRO optic plate provides red-dot compatibility out of the box.
The aluminum grip module with medium texture, tactical magwell, and Atlas Gunworks medium trigger offers excellent control. A tool-less guide rod, tuned springs, and high-grip shielded ambidextrous safeties round out a pistol designed to run hard for up to 10,000 rounds between service intervals.
