SLANG

The SLANG features a lightly padded shoulder strap that is roughly 1-5/8” wide and built with 500D Cordura, backed by comfortable tweave material. The edges of the pad are rounded out by the tweave material making sure that the neck contact points remain comfortable. The padded area is plenty long to protect the neck and shoulder for ensured comfort. The SLANG SLIM is the unpadded version of its predecessor.

No metal parts are used in its assembly to keep gear quiet and light. A large sliding-specific tri-glide is used to make rapid adjustment without binding or excess drag. The pull tab is a loop shape that is bolstered by a full wraparound layer of rubberized material, making it grippy in texture and bulbus in shape to facilitate a sure grip. The loop pull allows for hooking of a finger or thumb and creates a good-sized bunch to create a gross-movement grasping point. Adjustment is simple and loose when tension is lifted off the sling but locked when rifle weight is applied.

Whereas traditional slings are reversed in tightening and loosening function, the SLANG shines in its PULL FORWARD loosening. This allows for rapid loosening of the sling when bringing a long gun or subgun on target. The support hand can move forward to its index point on the rail while loosening the sling in a more fluid motion than what is traditionally allowed by other slings.

Prefer the standard pull back to loosen? No worries. The adjustment portion of the sling is reversable allowing the loosen/tighten function of the sling to fit the user’s choice. Simply undo the 1” webbing through the tri-glides and flip the adjustment system around. If the bottom of the sling were to become damaged or worn out, it is removable and therefore replaceable/easily repairable.

NOTE: Tri-glide adjustments are included on either end to mount to your QD’s or paracord attachment points. Slings are shipped long and require cutting and modifying to create proper fit without leaving excess material.
