The Nighthawk BDS9 Commander brings the renowned BDS9 platform into a more compact, carry-friendly 4.25″ configuration while preserving the uncompromising precision, balance, and shootability that define Nighthawk Custom. Built from the ground up as a purpose-built double-stack 1911, the BDS9 Commander pairs a match-grade 4.25″ barrel with a tri-cut, optic-ready slide for faster cycling, reduced weight, and rapid target acquisition. The aggressively textured grip module, full-length dust cover, and recon frame deliver exceptional control and stability, making this pistol equally at home on the range, in competition, or as a premium carry option.

Every BDS9 Commander is hand-fit by a single gunsmith, following Nighthawk’s “One Gun, One Gunsmith™” philosophy to ensure flawless lockup, perfect barrel fit, and an ultra-smooth cycling feel that machine-built pistols simply can’t match. Finished in durable Silver DLC with a black DLC bull barrel, equipped with a fiber optic front sight, Heinie Ledge solid black rear sight, and fully machined billet components, the BDS9 Commander delivers elite performance, enduring reliability, and world-class craftsmanship in a compact double-stack 1911.
