The Patented Arisaka Inline Scout Mount is designed specifically for the Surefire Scout Light M600 and M300 series weapon lights, the Arisaka 300, 600 and 18650 Series Lights, Modlite OKW and PLH, Olight Odin, and the Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1, 2 and HL-X (non-laser). It replaces the stock Picatinny rail adapter with a low profile mount for M-Lok handguards. The mount is especially useful on handguards that feature 45 degree angle mounting flats, such as the BCM MCMR, Geissele Automatics SMR MK4, MK8 and MK16, Daniel Defense MFR, KAC URX4, ALG Defense EMR, MI Gen 3, Mega MML and Mega/Hodge Wedge Lock.

When used on a 45 degree angle mounting flat, the Inline Scout Mount allows the user to position the light closer or farther away from the top 12 o’clock rail to give clearance for front sights or other accessories. Three positions are provided, allowing an offset of 0.12″ to either side of center. The base of the Surefire Scout Light sits only 0.2″ above the mounting surface.

Installation tip: In order to reduce the overall length of the mount as much as possible, it is necessary to unscrew the tail cap of the light to access the front-most mounting screw.

This mount is not intended for use in a cantilever fashion where it hangs off the end of the handguard.

Fit with front sights varies depending on mounting location on handguards with 45 degree flats:

  1. Top left 45 degree flat: Most sights work, including MBUS Pro, Knight’s Armament Micro, Troy folding, and Diamondhead. MBUS Gen II work if positioned to allow clearance for the release tab.
  2. Top right 45 degree flat: Due to the asymmetrical body of the Surefire Scout Light, placement of the front sight and light are more critical in this setup. The smaller sights like MBUS Pro and Knight’s Armament Micro work fine, but the Troy, Diamondhead, and MBUS Gen II will not be able to clear the main body where the screw holes reside for the stock picatinny adapter. This means one or the other will have to be moved forward/back to get appropriate clearance. Another option is to use an Arisaka 300 Series Light Body or 600 Series Light Body, which will allow plenty of clearance.

Compatible with the Modlite PLH, PLHv2 and OKW, Surefire M300A, M300B, M300C, M300V, M312, M322, M312V, M313V, M322V, M600B, M600C, M600P, M600U, M600V, M600DF, M612, M622, M603V, M612V, M622V, Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1, 2 and HL-X (non-laser), Olight Odin, CD REIN, and Arisaka 300, 600 and 18650 Series.

Length: 3.4″

Height: 0.20″ (at Surefire Scout Light mounting point)

Weight: 0.6 oz

The mount is CNC machined from 7075-T651 aluminum and MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodized. Includes necessary screws to attach light body to mount. Requires a T20 Torx or IP20 TorxPlus driver for installation (not included). A T9 Torx driver is required to remove the stock Picatinny mount from Surefire Scout Lights. Recommended torque: 30 inch lbs for M-Lok screws and 20 inch lbs for light body screws with Loctite 222 or 243.

Hardware: Two M-Lok nuts, two 10-24×5/16″ Torx button head screws, two 8-32×3/8″ Torx flat head screws.

As with any business where you are considering sending money for a product, you should do your due diligence in researching the company. With good reviews I decided to take the chance and purchase a Stacatto on a few payments. I received notifications of payments, all emails where always answered in a courteous manner and item was shipped immediately after receiving final payment. Pistol was perfect, added red dot and host plate was perfect, Vulcan porting was perfect, payments were perfect and communication was perfect. For those looking to own a Stacatto or other high end firearms, my purchase from Tag Firearms was absolutely the best experience and my ported P4 with its HMR HD is exactly what I was expecting. Thanks to all that was involved. Greg Thomas

I’ll preface this by saying I rarely give 5 star reviews because I always believe there’s room for improvement. This place is the exception.

Today was my first time visiting TAG and these folks truly know their stuff. Anything you want to know, they’ll take the time to explain. It was hands down the best customer service I’ve ever experienced.

They didn’t just sell me something, they took the time to educate me, answer my questions, and make me feel like a valued customer.

This was my first visit, but it definitely won’t be my last. These folks will be my #1 stop from now on.

Ordered a suppressor cover and it was shipped via their free shipping option, USPS Ground Advantage. It showed delivered but never was. Their customer service was responsive and helpful at first, but I never got a response to my last email. While I understand that TAG isn't the one that lost my package, I'm still out a good chunk of dough. If you place an order, upgrade your shipping so you don't get stuck with ground advantage.

Edit* Changed to 4 stars.

At the time of this review, I will be the 104th 5-Star review! I mean, c’mon, how often do you ever see a business with such a rock solid reputation like that? But im here to tell you guys, that its for real! James and Chris are down to earth, personable, intelligent, and professional all at the same time. I purchased a Staccato P from them, and they made the entire process super easy, and just had a great experience. Im already making a 2nd purchase! They definitely gained a loyal customer, and I will no doubt be using them for my future gun builds.

I’ve dealt with these guys for only about three months, but I can attest to the fact that this is the hardest working crew in the business, client always comes first, shipping is immediate and they will bend backwards to assist customers… also it is amazing to have a company take such pride in what they sell, this is truly a “white glove”, premier dealer!

I’ve been a customer since October of last year and will continue to be, the level of service is top tier! James and Chris have been absolutely amazing and I truly believe they will top any other firearms dealers in the country, I personally have vowed my allegiance to them as my number 1 firearm supplier and if you knew me that’s saying a lot as i am very picky! All I can say is don’t hesitate and check them out!

Chris at Tag Firearms has been amazing to work with. Bought a Q Honey Badger and Trash Panda through him for a great price, and he couldn't have made the process easier. I have over 20 stamps from more than a dozen dealers and I've never encountered any stores as professional, responsive, and helpful as his. He's been available 24/7 for any and all questions I've had, whether through text/phone/email or even IG, and is super knowledgable about every product they sell (believe me I asked a lot of questions). Honestly can't say enough good things about this shop, already planning my next purchases through them. Hit him up for your NFA goods, you won't regret it!!
